Maids Of The Upstate, LLC, is a woman owned cleaning company that offers Residential, Commercial, and Special Occasion cleaning services in Greenville, SC + surrounding areas.

Services

Basic/Regular Cleaning

One-time, Bi-monthly, Monthly, Bi-weekly & Weekly

This is your basic upkeep and routine maintenance clean.

All basic cleaning services will include-


  •  Dusting and disinfecting of all surfaces in all rooms
  •  Vacuuming and mopping of all floors (including stairs)
  •  Light dusting of picture frames/items/cabinets/furniture/light fixtures
  • Bed making (one sheet change is included, may add on additional)
  • Full bathroom and kitchen sanitation
  • Trash removal in all rooms
  • Light organization
  • Wiping and dusting windowsills
  • Dusting Fans (within reach, may use a step ladder)
  • Kitchen appliances wiped and shined
  • Light switch plates


Monthly

This is a great option if you are looking for a once monthly (every 4-6 weeks) cleaning that goes just a bit further than your average upkeep. Similar to a "mini or semi-deep clean".

Monthly cleanings include all basic cleaning services as well as-

  • Dusting and/or wiping blinds
  • Dusting baseboards
  • Spot cleaning kitchen and bathroom cabinets


Deep Cleaning

This is a very detailed, top to bottom cleaning. A "reset" for your home.

Deep Cleaning services will include ALL basic services as well as-


  • Interior window cleaning (within reach, does not include opening the inside of the window)
  • Dusting/wiping of all baseboards, trim work, molding, reachable crown molding, doors and door frames
  • Dusting air vents (ceiling, wall, and floor types)
  • High dusting (within reach, may use a step ladder)
  • Blind dusting and wiping as needed
  • Wiping exterior cabinets in bathrooms, kitchens, and all living areas
  • Cobweb removal (all corners-high and low)


Move In/ Move Out Cleaning

Moving in or out of a home or business? Are you getting ready to list or sell your home? This is the entire package.

Move In/Out cleaning services include all regular AND deep services as well as-

  • All Interior Cabinets (all bathroom, kitchens, and living areas)
  • Interior Refrigerator and/or Freezer
  • Interior Oven

  • Moving Heavy Furniture/Appliances
  • Garage Cleaning (we can sweep out empty garages)


What Should I do to Prepare for a Cleaning Appointment?

Some suggestions to ensure that you receive the most efficient cleaning-

  • Clear all clutter from the floors such as toys, clothes, trash, ETC.
  • Remove/clear any dishes from the sink
  • Clear counters to minimal items
  • Turn off all ceiling fans
  • Let your cleaners know upon arrival if there are any specific areas you would like EXTRA focus and attention on.


Frequently asked questions:

1) Do I need to pre-clean before you arrive?

No. That is OUR job. We do ask that kitchen sinks are clear of any dishes and counters have minimal items, so that we can provide you with the most efficient cleaning.

2) What do you use to clean the floors?

We use a natural/plant-based floor cleaner that has a vinegar/essential oil base, and a very light lemon fragrance. It is multi-floor friendly and safe for pets and children.

3) Do you use any bleach or harsh chemicals?

We do not use bleach or harsh chemicals, unless requested by you specifically. The majority of our cleaning products are plant-based and lightly scented. 

4) How long do cleanings typically take?

Each cleaning time varies. There are many factors such as size/square footage and the level of cleaning and attention needed. Our teams typically consist of 2-5 cleaners depending on the job. 


A basic or monthly cleaning can take between 1-3+ hours, while a deep or move-in/out cleaning can take between 3-6+ hours.

5) Do we need to be home and do our pets need to be put away?

You are not required to be home during cleanings. Our teams are able to use keys, codes, and lock-up after leaving your residence.


Pets are welcome to be out during cleanings, however, if you are not home, we do prefer that they be put away for safety and comfortability reasons.
